Meet the Team

After starting his career as a HGV mechanic, Nobby now uses his expert knowledge to head up our sales team. Although he mainly deals with our long-standing client base day-to-day, he’s always on hand to apply his specialist expertise to help new customers find the perfect product.

Nobby started his 21 year career as a HGV mechanic at an ERF/MAN dealership and, over the years, has worked on countless trucks and trailers of all makes and models. He joined the Walker Movements team in 2003 as the only garage mechanic and, in the last 22 years, has helped the company grow to what it is today. Our customers love his honesty and his amazing breadth of knowledge.

Ready to speak to a sales consultant? Jamie is a customer favourite due to his extensive knowledge and amazing customer service.

Jamie found himself in our sales team after starting his Walker Movements career in our workshop 16 years ago. Before his transition into sales in 2010 he worked as a HGV mechanic for over 12 years, so you can be confident in his expertise.

A keen football fan, when Jamie is not at work he is coaching the Walker Movements-sponsored Coalville team that his son plays for.

With over 27 years of HGV industry experience, Jamie is happy to answer all your questions with accuracy.

Compiling the detailed spec sheets for every vehicle we have in stock takes exquisite attention to detail. Luckily Rob knows exactly what to look for.

Rob started his automotive career in 2018 in the world of used cars. Since then, he has not only refined his ability to carry out detailed spec checks, but he has advanced his skills in producing high quality photo and video content as well.

Rob is always happy to provide you with any extra pictures or video content for any vehicle you are interested in, just get in contact.

Eric has a lifetime of experience in the truck industry. Known for his no-nonsense approach and genuine dedication, he consistently goes the extra mile to deliver for his customers. Although Eric now works part-time, he remains fully committed to supporting his customers and is always available via email. Don’t hesitate to reach out, he’ll get back to you as soon as he can.

Lizzie is the newest member of our team. Welcoming you on arrival with a smile and a cup of coffee. She ensures all vehicles are quickly listed on the website for you to view wherever you are.

Zoe started her Walker Movements journey in 2021 as our documents administrator, dealing with vehicle documents, EU exports and worldwide shipping. She has since taken on the marketing manager role and is always striving to better her knowledge with continuous training and development.

Pete spent an incredible 47 years working as Yard Manager on the site where Walker Movements is now located – and we were more than happy that he chose to join our team when we moved in!

As well as ensuring all staff and guests are safe while on site, Pete ensures all vehicles are correctly parked and labelled, so you can find your next truck (or trailer) with ease.

Michelle has been looking after the entire team at Walker Movements for an incredible 10 years. Her wonderful personality brings a smile to everyone’s face, so make sure to say hello if you see her around our site!

With his impressive 45 years of HGV mechanic experience, Mick inspires and mentors all members of his team. Previously working on vehicles from many different industries, plus a selection of specialist vehicles, he is qualified to fix almost any issue with precision. He has created a culture of support within the workshop, enabling all mechanics to work to the highest of standards, diagnosing and resolving even the most complex of issues. This ensures your vehicle is ready to go straight into work.

Jon has been in the HGV industry for over 16 years. Not only has he worked for a few different fleets, but he has also been a Master Technician and Supervisor at a Volvo main dealership. Its easy to say that Jon’s skills and level of knowledge are remarkable.  He gets great satisfaction in finding and fixing all types of mechanical issues to get your truck running like new.

Shane started his HGV mechanic career at an Iveco main dealer and 36 years later is still loving it. Specialising in complex electrical diagnosis and repair, Shane can get almost any truck working perfectly. With the abundance and breadth of his knowledge, his experience is invaluable to the team.

Lee loves the environment and the variety that each day brings in the workshop at Walker Movements. Starting out as a self-taught mechanic, Lee now has an impressive 43 years of HGV mechanic experience behind him. Working on a wide range of vehicles for so many years has equipped Lee with the skills and knowledge to efficiently rectify almost any issue on any type of vehicle.

Jack started out his career as an apprentice in our workshop, and 7 years later he is still loving his job! He’s comfortable working on any vehicle and his breadth of knowledge allows him to fix almost any issue. He has exceptional attention to detail and enjoys the more in-depth diagnosis and repair.

Daniel started his career after being inspired by his father who was also a skilled mechanic, 27 years later he has worked on all types of light and heavy vehicles. Daniel’s expertise has allowed him to travel the world in his career and even landed him at MAN main dealers in Holland. Aside from HGVs and light goods vehicles, Daniel has experience working on all types of airport vehicles and even 80 tonne cranes!

Straight out of school, Daniel chose a career in HGV mechanics. Gaining a variety of skills and experience from working in a Renault main dealership, Daniel is confident resolving almost any mechanical issue he is faced with. Loving the challenge and variety of the job, he is still enjoying it 12 years later.

Isaac’s interest in the motor trade began at an early age, helping out in his family’s body repair shop. That early enthusiasm grew further during his time as a valeter, where he worked closely with a wide variety of vehicles and developed a real passion for the industry. Now, supported by our skilled and experienced workshop team, Isaac is steadily building the knowledge and confidence he needs to carry out HGV repairs independently.

Although Cade is the newest member of our workshop team, he is already proving himself to be a valuable addition. His enthusiasm for learning, combined with a genuine passion for the job, shines through in everything he does. Cade takes guidance from our experienced technicians with confidence and eagerness, quickly turning new knowledge into practical skills. We’re excited to see how he continues to grow and what he will achieve throughout his journey with Walker Movements.

Adam was a self-employed valeter for over 2 years before joining our team. During this time, he worked on a wide range of vehicles including various plant machinery, boats, trucks and tractors. He has even valeted the One Direction tour bus! Now, with over 6 years of experience behind him, it’s safe to say he is a pro when it comes to restoring a vehicle to its former glory.  

Mark is an experienced valeter with over 20 years experience in the trade. Since a young age he’s always had a passion for cars and other vehicles, so working within the industry was a natural step. Mark is skilled in restoring vehicles back to their former glory with his eye for meticulous detail, and in 2023 he decided to move on to bigger and better things by focusing his attention onto HGVs.

With family in the trucking industry, Hayden has always had an interest in cars and trucks. He really enjoys the process of cleaning a truck from inside to out and loves the satisfaction of seeing a clean and shiny vehicle.
