so we waited a while before reviewing , 7 months in fact. we feel that a review must mean something, not just passing praise.
we viewed a truck at walkers and although it was super, it just wasn't for us, alas what seems like all the trucks in the country in one carpark. we found another, perfect truck for us and very well looked after by it's previous owner. we haggled the price, the walkers team were super approachable, polite and helped us where it mattered. truth is we had 3 other trucks to look at by different brokers but what swayed us to make a deal here above our budget was.
the team were not bothered if we purchased or walked away, not bothered how many times we walked around the yard, not bothered how much tea and coffee we drank, not bothered how much decision swapping we did, in fact they encouraged us to do exactly that, they also said they would take the truck off sale while we went away and had a think, they let us look over the truck in the mechanics workshop, nothing, and I mean nothing was too much trouble. the sheer level of customer service from this company was unreal. and it was this that swayed us to not bother going anywhere else.
fast forward 7 months and the truck has been flawless, absolutely flawless.
from a window frame supply truck in its first life, to a fully hydraulic side opening festival mobile stage with us, I am sure we will have many trouble free years with it, and when it's time to add another to the fleet, walker movements will be getting our business again.
